Many law students must choose between following their interests or paying off student loans.
Debt can discourage students from pursuing fellowships and careers that don’t offer the highest salaries. Scholarships help us reward the most promising future attorneys, and empower them to make career choices based on their passions and talents. Awards like the Professor Morgan E. Shipman Endowed Scholarship also offer a way to honor beloved Moritz faculty who inspired students through their teaching, research and mentorship.
When you give to the Professor Morgan E. Shipman Endowed Scholarship Fund, you support merit-based scholarships for our most talented law students. These gifts offset a large portion of educational costs, encouraging students to pursue the legal careers that will provide the greatest fulfillment. Since the Shipman Scholarship was created in 2005, more than 14 students have received this prestigious award. With your support, we’ll be able to recognize and support even more.
You can empower law students with a gift to scholarships.
