The healthier our students are, the better equipped they are to care for their patients.
Even for students dedicated to promoting health, it can be challenging to balance college and personal wellness. Healthy lifestyle behaviors, mental health, fitness and a healthy weight are the most problematic areas for college students. With evidence-based self-care training, our health science students will be better prepared to improve patient health.
When you give to the Wellness Onboarding program at Ohio State, you provide nursing students the resources, information and support they need to enhance their wellness. Led by the College of Nursing, this comprehensive program includes a wellness assessment, biometric screening, personalized wellness plan, and coaching provided by a trained nurse practitioner or medical student. Through your support, students in the Wellness Onboarding program will create personalized goals and plans to improve their nutrition, physical activity, sleep, study habits, and stress-reduction skills. Your generosity today will enable our health science students to practice effective self-care and become the healthcare leaders of tomorrow.
Together we can improve student wellness.
