Our nation’s heroes are struggling to pay for college.
After returning from service, many veterans face a new challenge: earning their college degrees. Under the Post-9/11 GI Bill, they can receive support for tuition and living expenses, but these funds often run out before graduation. With only a few classes left, our dedicated student-veterans may not be able to finish their degrees. That means fewer job prospects and less earning potential, which can make it more difficult to readjust to civilian life.
Your gift will provide emergency scholarships to help our student-veterans finish their degrees. Under the guidance of the Office of Military and Veterans Services, your support will go where it’s needed most: to student-veterans nearing the end of their studies, and those who have a significant gap between their financial aid package and cost of attendance. With degrees in hand, our nation’s heroes can better integrate into civilian life, serve their communities through new careers and provide for their families.
