Support the new equine arena
Equine sports medicine and performance evaluation has become an important pillar in supporting the equine industry through the use of modern medicine, research, and technology. Over the years, our hospital has enjoyed resources that allow us to provide an unsurpassed level of care across all horse breeds and disciplines, but there is more we can do.
The Galbreath Equine Center is building a new Equine Performance Evaluation Arena, a multipurpose space for our lameness specialists to effectively perform equine gait evaluations to enhance their daily work of diagnosing and treating performance problems in equine athletes. This arena will help our equine team will fill a critical gap in diagnosis, therapy, and rehabilitation.
With the physical manifestation of the arena coming, we can now look at growing our program.
Make a gift today to help us enhance our Equine Sports Medicine Program. Your gift to the Equine Performance Evaluation Arena Fund would help us boost construction of a new building on our campus for future clients to bring in their horses for lameness evaluation.
Thanks to generous donors, construction is set to begin in 2022. Your gift today can help us elevate the Equine Sports Medicine program by providing crucial support for the general operations of the new arena. Every gift, no matter the size, will help take our program to the next level.
In addition to the covered arena — a large area where horses can be evaluated performing their natural gaits — this new evaluation arena will provide us with performance tools such as a force plate and a trotting lane, allowing us to support all types of Equine evaluation.
As of January 2021, we have secured needed funding to begin construction on the arena.
Help us build an arena so we can continue to offer excellence in Equine Sports Medicine today and beyond.
