When you support the College of Arts and Sciences’ Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Enhancement Fund, you help create a 21st century educational experience that equips our students to address the intricacies of an increasingly diverse and global culture. As our world becomes more integrated and complex, it is essential that we offer students learning experiences across our classrooms, labs and studios that allow opportunities to collaborate with those who offer visions of the world far different from their own. It is through such rich collaborations that we see our best problem solving come to life.
Fostering diversity directly enhances student learning and enables our students to be more competitive and successful in the job market. Employers seek graduates who understand diversity and who are able to work as part of diverse teams. Through our research, teaching, outreach and educational opportunities, our students will become thought leaders and integral contributors to the diverse communities of the 21st century.
