Your gift will strengthen our community
Support our students and have your gift matched!
Every year, more students come to Moritz College of Law with aspirations for legal careers in public service. Our students want to do good in society—fighting human trafficking, helping families who face eviction, and promoting racial equality and social justice.
Public service fellowships give students hands-on experience that prepares them for fulfilling legal careers and enables them to better society. These fellows work in organizations that serve and strengthen our communities.
Significant financial barriers exist for many students pursuing public service careers. These barriers have a disproportionate impact on students of color, low-income students and first-generation law students. Because of you, we can empower students with financial constraints who wish to pursue public interest careers—and help improve the world.
Funding public service opportunities is a priority of the college and of Dean Lincoln Davies. Your generosity to the Public Interest Fellowship Fund will provide financial assistance to students when they serve in unpaid or low-paying fellowship positions. Thanks to several generous donors who created a matching gift pool, every dollar donated will be matched up to $18,500.
Have your gift matched and accelerate Moritz’s ability to help more law students serve their communities and launch careers in public service!
