Our country is a changing landscape of urban and rural areas, and wildlife are constantly pushed to adapt or disappear. To keep up with the changing needs and management of wildlife, the School of Environment and Natural Resources (SENR) needs to expand research work focused on wildlife living in disturbed areas or along the borders of urban areas. We also need to provide more outreach and hands-on learning opportunities for future wildlife conservation professionals.
Your gift to the SENR’s Wildlife Fund, will enable educational, research and outreach efforts to improve wildlife conservation and management. More students will be able to take part in research trips to study coyotes living in urban environments or to use a local park as a wildlife laboratory. Researchers will gain invaluable knowledge by studying the wildlife affected by mining operations or changes along the Lake Erie coastline. The development of future wildlife professionals will guide conservation and ecological restoration efforts balancing the needs of our communities with the needs of wildlife.
Give to protect our nation’s wildlife while educating the next generation of conservationists.
