The Ohio State University College of Nursing is a national leader in advancing health and well-being through research, education, and clinical innovation. Our faculty are deeply engaged in cancer-related research, focusing on survivorship, symptom management, and health equity. Through interdisciplinary collaboration with the OSU Comprehensive Cancer Center, we strive to improve outcomes and quality of life for individuals affected by cancer.
About the Donna Bovina Sanders and Mary Patricia Armstrong Nursing Cancer Research Endowed Fund (483990):
This endowed fund has already made a significant impact by enabling the launch of a pioneering study led by Dr. Yesol Yang, investigating cognitive-emotional challenges in young breast cancer survivors. Conducted in partnership with the Comprehensive Cancer Center, this research has laid the groundwork for future interventions and competitive grant opportunities. The fund also elevates the visibility of nursing-led cancer research at Ohio State.
