The Donna Bovina Sanders & Mary Patricia Armstrong Nursing Scholarship Fund (483991) empowers the next generation of nurses to make a difference in the fight against cancer. This scholarship provides critical financial support to outstanding undergraduate students in the College of Nursing who:
- Maintain a minimum 3.5 GPA on a 4.0 scale
- Demonstrate financial need
- Have experience or a strong interest in oncology or cancer care
Preference is given to students who graduated from high schools in Jefferson or Summit Counties, Ohio, ensuring we invest in local talent with a passion for healing.
Established in February 2023 through the generosity of Terri Sue Armstrong (MS ’93) and Christopher Woll Armstrong (JD ’89), and enhanced by the Scarlet and Gray Advantage Endowed Matching Gift Program, this fund is a lasting tribute to Donna Bovina Sanders and Mary Patricia Armstrong—two names synonymous with compassion and care.
