Why Your Gift Matters
This fund helps remove financial barriers for HRS students by offering scholarships based on merit or financial need. Preference is given to students who demonstrate leadership and service, qualities that define our school’s mission. Your support helps students who are actively involved in organizations across HRS, empowering them to grow academically, serve their communities and prepare for impactful careers in health and rehabilitation sciences.
Impact in Action
HRS student Halle Hamilton discovered her passion for health sciences after arriving at Ohio State unsure of her path. Coming from a small rural town, she embraced the big opportunities at HRS—research courses, serving as a University Ambassador and shadowing a pediatric occupational therapist. The HRS Alumni Scholarship eased her financial burden, allowing her to focus on these experiences and pursue her dream of earning a doctorate in occupational therapy.
“I am incredibly honored and grateful to be a recipient of the HRS Alumni Scholarship,” Halle shares. “My dream is to pursue my doctorate in occupational therapy right here at Ohio State, and this scholarship helps make that possible.”
