Together, we can eliminate one year of tuition for every veterinary medicine student.
Featured Fund for Day of Giving
The Ohio State University College of Veterinary Medicine Scholarship Fund aims to eliminate one year of in-state tuition for every veterinary student through scholarships. With tuition for four years totaling close to $261,485, this support is critical. We’ve raised $3.65 million toward our $5.8 million goal, and your gift can help us reach it.
Why Your Gift Matters
Two out of three Ohio State veterinary students graduate with an average of $160,000 in debt, often repaying double what they borrowed. This financial burden limits career choices, making it harder for graduates to pursue residencies, buy practices or serve rural communities. By reducing debt, we empower students to follow their passions and meet community needs.
Impact in Action
In 2025, more than 300 students received scholarship support, averaging $12,500 per award. These scholarships make a tangible difference, giving students the freedom to choose careers based on passion rather than financial pressure. Every dollar you give moves us closer to eliminating one year of tuition for every student.
