Together, we can ensure that art and culture remain accessible for students.
Featured Fund for Day of Giving
The Membership Fund directly supports students by underwriting the costs necessary to bring world-class art to Ohio State, deliver immersive art education programs and initiatives, and provide free memberships to Ohio State students. This fund not only provides instrumental support for the Wexner Center for the Arts, its programs and mission, but also provides donors with a wide range of exciting member benefits to use throughout the year.
Why Your Gift Matters
Your gift fortifies the Wexner Center for the Arts’ ability to play an integral role in shaping Columbus into the new contemporary arts center of the Midwest. By supporting “the Wex” as a bridge between the global contemporary art world and the cultural growth of our region, your gift helps enrich Ohio State’s campuses and advance a vision of creativity, curiosity and cultural exchange for Columbus communities — including current Buckeyes!
Impact in Action
This year, the Wex opened our doors wider than ever by introducing a membership program designed just for Ohio State students to help develop the next generation of arts advocates. Since launching the student membership program, we have welcomed over 500 Buckeyes into our vibrant community in just one semester. In this past year alone, membership support has also helped the Wex provide art education for K-12 Students, bring global voices and performances to Columbus, and support artists residences and commissions.
About the Wexner Center for the Arts
The Wex is a multidisciplinary resource for contemporary culture based on The Ohio State University’s main campus. Since its founding in 1989, it has evolved into a cultural force with both citywide impact and global recognition. Its mission is to ignite and cultivate creative curiosity that fuels artistic inquiry.
Through exhibitions, film screenings, performances, learning programs, talks, moving image residencies, and the preservation of our collections, the Wex sparks ideas and cultivates critical dialogue. While its iconic Peter Eisenman– and Richard Trott–designed building is its home, the Wex’s influence extends across and beyond the city, acting as a platform for artistic exploration and community connection.
