Training pharmacists to transform care

Your support celebrates the 20th anniversary of Partner for Promotion where future pharmacists to design services in community pharmacies.

Featured Fund for Day of Giving

Partner for Promotion is a transformative program that prepares tomorrow’s pharmacists to lead with innovation, collaboration and community impact. Through the program, student pharmacists work with faculty mentors and community-based pharmacies. They create real, sustainable patient-care services, from wellness screenings to chronic disease management.

By supporting this fund, donors directly fuel services that continue long after the academic year ends, improving care for patients while training students to be practice-ready leaders.

Why Your Gift Matters

Partner for Promotion gives students hands-on experience in designing, launching and sustaining patient-care services that make a measurable difference in people’s lives. Instead of limiting impact to one area, this fund strengthens the entire ecosystem of practice-based training. Overall, you are supporting mentorship, project development, and community partnerships that expand access to care where it’s needed most.

Impact in Action

For 20 years, Partner for Promotion has empowered students and community pharmacists to build services that transform pharmacy practice. Since its launch:

  • More than 200 student pharmacists have participated
  • Over 100 community pharmacists have partnered in service development
  • Dozens of pharmacies across Ohio now offer ongoing clinical services created through the program

From immunization programs and diabetes management to medication therapy consultations, Partner for Promotion projects help patients receive high-quality care in trusted, accessible community pharmacies.
