College of Nursing
Empowering future nurses to thrive

Your gift provides direct, meaningful support that helps nursing students succeed in the classroom, the clinic and beyond.

Featured Fund for Day of Giving

The College of Nursing Student Support Fund is a current-use fund, meaning every dollar goes straight to work supporting students right now. This fund provides immediate, hands-on help by covering academic and professional needs from NCLEX study guides and required clinical equipment to conference travel and global learning opportunities. Donors can choose exactly how they want to make an impact, making each gift personal, meaningful and directly felt by the nursing students it supports.

Why Your Gift Matters

Nursing students face many costs as they prepare for coursework and clinicals. This fund helps ease those financial pressures by supporting licensure preparation, professional growth, and opportunities to build global citizenship.

Your gift can support:

  • $25: NCLEX Study Guide
  • $50: Signature red nursing scrubs
  • $100: Stethoscope
  • $300: NCLEX exam fee
  • $500–$1,000: Conference registration & travel
  • $2,000–$5,000: Global learning experiences

Each contribution, at any level, gives students the tools and opportunities they need to grow, lead, and serve with confidence.

Impact in Action

Nursing student Isabelle Meehan embodies the resilience and leadership made possible through support from this fund. Living with type 1 diabetes and recovering from a near-fatal car accident, Isabelle founded the College Diabetes Network at Ohio State, supporting more than 50 students. She has completed 100-mile fundraising bike rides, advocates for others living with chronic illness, and is now pursuing her Master of Science in Nursing – Family Nurse Practitioner track.
