Impact in Action
A survey found that:
- 100% of students in the program who were surveyed said they felt a sense of belonging within Scarlet & Gray Advantage.
- Students also reported a significant increase in their sense of belonging overall at Ohio State – a leading indicator for degree completion.
- 93.9% of these students engaged in additional resources outside of Scarlet & Gray Advantage programming, including wellness services, student organizations, tutoring, advising and more.
- No students took out loans before the start of the academic year, and fewer students have had unmet financial need.
About Scarlet & Gray Advantage
The Ohio State University seeks to become the place where students can create a pathway for themselves to graduate without debt through a partnership involving student contributions, financial, academic and extracurricular support. Ohio State will commit to providing undergraduate students with the financial and personal support to successfully complete their bachelor's degree, debt-free, in four years. The long-term goal is that all undergraduate students who wish to graduate debt-free will have that option.
