Scholarships help social work students stay enrolled and strengthen communities.
Featured Fund for Day of Giving
The Alumni Scholarship Fund helps make higher education attainable for social work students who often face financial pressures. As the cost of living and tuition continue to rise, these scholarships ensure students can remain enrolled and continue their work preparing to serve people, families and communities.
Why Your Gift Matters
Thanks to donor generosity, support for scholarships has increased by 150% over the past five years. This allowed the college to award more than $430,000 in scholarships in the 2024–25 academic year. These funds make the difference between a student dropping out and a student completing their degree.
Impact in Action
The College of Social Work is deeply rooted in community engagement. Students work with local government, schools, nonprofits, recreation programs, churches and health organizations. Each year’s Alumni Magazine highlights students whose lives and impact have been shaped by scholarship support and real-world community partnerships.
